Designed in the heart of Sarkhoon Village, north of Bandar Abbas, this duplex villa comprises 330 square meters of built area set within a 1,000-square-meter landscaped site.

The project is organized around a flexible central space on the ground floor, conceived as an adaptive element that can merge with or detach from the surrounding program. This spatial strategy responds directly to the region’s climatic conditions, fostering a way of living deeply connected to the local environment.

A white exterior envelope paired with V-Cool glazing mitigates the intensity of the southern heat, while enhancing thermal comfort and daylight quality throughout the villa. The landscape design, enriched by diverse planting schemes and subtle changes in topography, creates a dynamic sequence of outdoor experiences and encourages exploration of the site.

Mandarin trees positioned along the southeastern edge of the villa strengthen the project’s connection to Sarkhoon’s agricultural identity, embedding a sense of place within everyday life. Equally significant is the preservation of a mature native tree on the western side of the property, where it continues to coexist with the architecture and its inhabitants, becoming a living anchor within the project’s narrative.

The villa seeks to establish a dialogue between architecture, climate, and landscape—creating a contemporary dwelling rooted in the character and memory of its context.
